Game Of Thrones Season 8: 3 Powerful Life Lesson We've Learned From The Show So Far
Game of Thrones Season 8 is only a few weeks away, and we're all excited!
While we wait for the show’s final season, we’ve come up with a list of the three of the most powerful life lessons you can learn from the great people of Westeros.
Now, if you haven’t watched the show before, there may be some significant spoilers ahead. Tread carefully, my friend.
1. Learn to turn your weakness into a strength

Before Jon Snow learned of his true heritage, Tyrion Lannister gave him a short (pun intended), but powerful advice. “Never forget what you are. The rest of the world will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you .“
Tyrion is the epitome of this quote. He’s an influential figure even in his small stature. He frequently uses his wit to overcome any discrimination he receives which is why most people refer to him as a clever imp.
This quote teaches us that we should learn to accept our shortcomings and work around it rather than against it. If Jon Snow would sulk every time someone refers to him as the bastard, he may never have found out about his birth parents.
2. Get up when you fall

When the Drowned Priest baptized Theon Greyjoy, they both uttered the words “What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger.” In many parts of the show, Theon has experienced a lot of hardships in his life (Did we mention his Reek persona?), but he ultimately found his strength by consistently getting up. Fans of the show are expecting to see more of his triumph in Game of Thrones season 8.
As simple as it may sound, when life beats you to a pulp, like what Ramsay did to Theon, don’t just stay down. Recuperate and rise back up.
3. Never Underestimate Women

When she first appeared on the show, she was seen as someone who’s submissive and a bit of a pushover. But, everything changed when she’s had enough of her ambitious brother. Another formidable female character of the show is Cersei Lannister, being the current queen.
Thinking of yourself as someone superior from others can only do you more harm than good. Let’s start seeing people as equals. We don’t just mean women but people in general.
But the question remains, will any of these strong female character defeat Jon Snow in the Iron Throne? We’ll all find out when Game of Thrones Season 8 premieres on April. While you’re at it, think about giving your buddy a Game of Thrones merch to wear during the premiere.
